Allianz: Closer than ever with a new global network infrastructure

Makes team collaboration across continents both state-of-the-art and seamless

The successful foundation for digitization within any global multimarket company is a secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructure. On its journey to becoming a true digital company, Allianz Group has formed a strategic partnership with Accenture. The goal is to realize its digitization ambitions by building and operating a global network and communications platform.

Customers now expect to use their preferred communication channels at all times, whether that is video, email or in person, as well as their favorite digital devices, such as smartphones and laptops. Switching between these channels needs to be seamless and provide an integrated user experience.

To address these new customer needs, Allianz is providing innovative new services, such as fast quoting. To build a next-generation secure network infrastructure that enables such services, significant investments and profound transformation is required. Allianz and Accenture have partnered to transform current networks, which consisted of more than 100 separate infrastructures, into the Allianz Global Network, enabling seamless communication across continents, services, and complex team structures.

Allianz Managed Operations & Services (AMOS) is the shared service unit for Allianz Group. It is a key driver for the company’s digitization agenda, and aims to transform it into a true digital insurer. AMOS has created a new and consistent Allianz Global Network (AGN) as part of the Allianz Infrastructure Transformation Program, the globally largest infrastructure transformation program in the insurance industry. The Allianz Global Network strategic initiative provides the underlying network infrastructure and communications services to transform the company into a true global and digital enterprise. Accenture was selected by Allianz as the strategic integrator to deliver AGN.
