The Software Engineering Research and Development group applies advanced technology-based, patent-pending intellectual properties in several areas, including natural language processing, model-based engineering, program analysis, application security analysis and cloud computing.
This produced several assets used across our Global Delivery Network, including requirements analysis, design verification, test automation, domain modeling, contextual reuse and reverse engineering.
The group focuses on several areas:
Intelligent Workbench for Software Delivery—The group is developing a unified “intelligent” workbench for the automation of end-to-end software “round trip engineering” that will enable the creation of high-quality software components with seamless traceability and reuse. This pioneering workbench is built from a portfolio of patent-pending technologies in natural language processing, machine learning and invisible IT.
Application Engineering for Cloud—Research is dedicated to developing next-generation Application Lifecycle Management tools and frameworks for the cloud. Among the areas of focus is a custom-built suite of tools for the SalesForce Development environment that helps facilitate the use of best practices, identifying security vulnerabilities and automatically generating unit test cases.
Emerging Technologies for Reverse Innovation—This group explores key technologies such as social, mobile, analytics and cloud to develop digital business solutions for emerging economies in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, nutrition, energy and supply chain management. New initiatives are continuously incubated in partnership with start-up companies to solve complex business problems for emerging economies under severe resource constraints using frugal engineering techniques with a focus on reverse innovation.
