BOEMRE Minerals Revenue Management Support System

Overview

The Department of the Interior (DOI) Bureau of Ocean Energy Management Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) [formerly Minerals Management Service (MMS)] has awarded Accenture a single-award 10-year contract (one base year with nine option years) for application maintenance, infrastructure outsourcing and new development to begin October 1, 2008. This continues the successful relationship initiated with the 1999 contract to develop the Minerals Revenue Management Support System (MRMSS).

Services
The MRMSS supports the collection, accounting and disbursement of $10 billion annually in royalties due for oil, gas, and solid minerals extracted from federal and Native American lands. Under this contract, Accenture provides the application maintenance, application development and infrastructure support for the federal government’s royalty management program.
