Robert Flynn is responsible for helping drive Accenture’s payments industry perspective and development of payments assets. Robert has more than 20 years of banking experience, including 16 years with Accenture where he specializes in payments and transaction services serving global, regional, and central banks and payment technology firms. His experience spans retail and commercial payments covering strategy, large scale transformation, operating model, and payment solution implementation. Robert has worked closely with both US-domestic and international clients to help define payment strategies and payment investment sequencing.

Mike Abbott leads the Accenture Digital Financial Services practice in North America navigating global clients through complex digital transformations. Mike is a foremost expert in payments and digital innovation, partnering with banks, capital markets firms, and insurers to help them adopt innovative technologies and transform their businesses. He joined Accenture after five years as the CEO and founder of Softcard, which was acquired by Google in 2015 and is now the mobile-wallet platform for Google’s Android Pay. Before founding Softcard, Mike was chief marketing officer at GE Capital, helping GE’s card business to grow $30 billion in assets.
