AI technologies will transform organizations in ways not seen since the beginning of the Digital Revolution, fundamentally reinventing how they deliver, execute, and perform. Implemented responsibly, AI will help amplify human thoughts and activity to improve how we live and work.

RESPONSIBLE AI

AI creates new ways for agencies to attain their missions. It also requires them to design responsibly by embedding accountability, fairness, human-centricity, and transparency into all artificial intelligence. Ultimately, AI should benefit citizens, workers, and all of society—strengthening trust in every interaction.

Raising Awareness, Building Skills

In May 2017, 500 Accenture people from 25 locations globally participated in our second internal Artificial Intelligence Hackathon. The challenge? Use AI to support students, job seekers and entrepreneurs in building the skills to succeed in the digital world.

Our Washington D.C. teams developed a “career counselor” chatbot. It asks high school and first-year college students a series of open-ended questions and analyzes the answers through sentiment analysis. The chatbot then recommends three possible careers and associated majors aligned to the resulting range of characteristics.
