Melissa Adamson is managing director for Accenture's Strategic Solutions Sales, with 15 years of experience successfully selling information technology solutions and managing enterprise business operations in the federal marketplace. In addition to her accreditation as an Amazon Business Professional, Adamson is also Industry chair of the ACT/IAC Advanced Mobility Working Group and the Digital Enablement Community of Interest.
In her work as an Accenture managing director for Emerging Technologies, Adamson was responsible for creating sales and market strategy for emerging technologies, including Amazon, SalesForce, ServiceNow, Splunk data analysis and new SAP modules. She has also contributed to federal sales strategies for Agilex Technologies and Microsoft Corporation, developing familiarity with Federal Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and Public Safety, eGovernment, and Education, along with the VA, Census Bureau, ATF and Amtrak.
Adamson provides expertise in cross-public service work, with particular skills in mobile and cloud applications and the possibilities of analytics. Her skills include strategy development for business and IT, along with leadership and management development.
Following a cum laude degree from American University in Washington, D.C., Adamson settled in a farm-to-table agricultural neighborhood in Virginia, where she now lives with her family and contributes regularly to her daughter's school community and local charities.
