Mark Beaton is the senior managing director of Accenture Operations and BPO Global Accounts, responsible for helping some of Accenture’s largest global accounts transform their business through analytics, process excellence, outsourcing and technology.
He is also part of the Accenture Products Global Leadership Team, and has responsibility for Accenture Operations within the Products operating group which serves clients in the air, freight and travel services; automotive; consumer goods and services; industrial equipment; infrastructure and transportation services; life sciences; and retail industries.
Prior to moving to Accenture operations, Beaton held multiple positions in consulting and technology where he helped design and deliver business and IT transformation programs and established large shared service capabilities for major clients in the oil, government, communications and media sales industries.
Beaton was part of the management team that built Accenture’s Operations Delivery Centers and spent four years on the board of Accenture United Kingdom, responsible for Technology and BPO Outsourcing.
He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Aberdeen, and a M.Sc. in Management Science from the London School of Economics. Beaton also supports the board of his local hospital and a local charity for under-privileged children.
