OVERVIEW

Malcolm Jackson is the Director for CIO Advisory Services at Accenture Federal Services. With deep experience leading transformative IT programs, he partners with federal agencies to design and implement strategies to improve IT performance and agility, reduce operating costs, and deliver more innovative capabilities to the mission faster.

Prior to joining Accenture Federal Services, Jackson was Vice President, Strategic Accounts at Phase One (acquired by Accenture in 2017). At Phase One, he worked to develop IT strategies to capitalize on emerging technologies like advanced analytics and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), improve cybersecurity and create operational efficiencies.

Jackson served as Assistant Administrator for the Office of Environmental Information and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from 2010 to 2013. During his tenure, he accelerated EPA's cloud migration, implemented a new mobile strategy, upgraded infrastructure and reduced IT operating costs. He has also held CIO, chief technology officer (CTO) and other senior IT roles within the commercial sector, including at Quaker Oats (PepsiCo), Shell Oil, Cigna, Monsanto, FosterSoft and the Brickman Group.

Jackson holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. degree from Jackson State University.
