Lisa Mitnick is Managing Director for Accenture Digital, responsible for driving mobile and digital innovation services across North America Health and Public Service markets. She also serves as the Digital Location lead for Washington, D.C., and is the Executive Sponsor for the Women Employee Resource Group (WERG).
Prior to her current role, Mitnick was responsible for Accenture Mobility strategy, including mergers and acquisitions and alliances. She has worked in the communications, media and information services industry for more than 20 years, and was named to Mobile Marketer’s Mobile Women to Watch in 2013. Before joining Accenture, she held a number of senior positions at Reed Elsevier, LexisNexis, Gartner, Corporate Executive Board, and Coopers & Lybrand.
Mitnick is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including Mobile World Congress, Mobile Women to Watch Summit, Government Mobility, Software & Information Industry Association, MIT Sloan CIO Symposium, America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), American Public Human Services Association (APHSA), National Association of Public Child Welfare Administrators (NAPCWA), Bowling Green State University Sebo Series on Entrepreneurship, and Nonprofit Roundtable. For these conferences, she has presented on topics including digital transformation, enterprise mobility, mobile workforce management, Internet of Things (ioT), mobile enabling the mission of government, mCommerce and mHealth.
Mitnick values involvement in issues she cares about, including promoting opportunities for women, supporting the growth of digital, and encouraging local office engagement and support for their host community. She is a board member of 501cTech, a non-profit in the Greater Washington, DC area providing technology services to other non-profits.
Mitnick earned her bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. She is married with two children, and lives in Bethesda, Maryland.
