Joseph Fiorentino is a Managing Director within Accenture’s Health and Public Service practice. As an Industry Executive focused on Health and Human Services, he leads a team devoted to helping state and local governments use analytics and business intelligence to provide insight driven, client-focused social and healthcare services. In doing so, he offers Accenture’s clients market-leading skills in strategic consulting and project delivery, including managing bids and proposals, client relationships, delivery practice support, community development and marketing investments.
Having gained deep consulting experience with government and insurance organizations over a 20-year career, Joseph joined Accenture in 2016. Prior to his current role, he led the IBM Health & Human Services practices, where he was responsible for IBM’s social programs. That included leading a team of industry experts focused on government healthcare and social services, as well as advising delivery teams for Medicaid, SACWIS/Child Welfare and Human Service agencies across the United States. He had also earlier been IBM Global Social Services Lead, running a global team of 15 industry consultants developing thought leadership and support opportunities around the world.
Since gaining a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McGill University, Joseph has established himself as a thought leader in his field. He has published reports on the social industry model for IBM, on the importance of smart cities for Public Sector Digest, and most recently on the need for a new health and human services data mindset.
