John Schoew is an Accenture Managing Director and leads our Health & Public Service Security Practice in North America, working on cybersecurity issues with healthcare providers and payers, US state and local governments, Canada federal and provincial governments, and higher education institutions. John brings a diverse set of capabilities and insights to clients in security, corporate strategy and customer-centric innovation and has experience working in the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
John joined Accenture with the acquisition of Axia in 2015, where he was a Principal in the firm’s growth strategy practice. Prior to joining Axia, John worked in the Middle East from 2006 to 2012 in national security, defense and technology industries. His work in the region included extensive time in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Oman, and Lebanon working with business executives, senior government officials and members of ruling families.
Prior to his time overseas, John was based in Washington, DC, and Boston working for the Monitor Group and with former senior White House national security and foreign policy advisors, leading corporate strategy, security, marketing strategy and executive development projects for healthcare, government, national security/defense and life sciences clients.
