Jamie Walker is the executive director of Accenture's North America Child Support industry practice. With over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, and with more than 20 years focused on developing, implementing and maintaining statewide child support systems, Jamie has worked extensively across North America.
Jamie drives Accenture’s investment priorities to implement innovative solutions to improve the services provided to children and their families. She has been instrumental in implementing Accenture’s patented interactive web-based self-service portals for child support constituents. Recognizing that child support solutions must be more than just technology solutions, she has leveraged usability experts to ensure that human-centered service design focuses on family outcomes. Using the Accenture Insight Platform (AIP), she has designed predictive analytic models to provide insight into the demographics of the child support community and to predict next best actions that will drive improved outcomes. She also drives continued improvement in the Foundation for Accenture Child Support Enforcement Solutions (FACSES). This unique and powerful asset provides a repository of purpose-built child support application components to jumpstart a state’s development efforts. It’s an innovative, yet proven, way of bringing industry best practices to the child support community.
A graduate of the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce, Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in Marketing and Management Information Systems. She is a member of the National Child Support Enforcement Association, the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, the Texas Association of Governmental Information Technology Managers and the Technology Association of Georgia.
