Jake Brody is a managing director at Accenture Federal Services, who leads the company’s work with the U.S. Census Bureau. In this role, he has oversight and responsibility for Accenture’s relationship and portfolio of work with the Census Bureau, working to help the Census Bureau build a digital, durable and transformative platform of programs in line with the agency’s mission and objectives.
Prior to this role, Mr. Brody served as the Civilian Portfolio Sales Lead with responsibility for all business development and growth initiatives across Accenture’s work with civilian federal agencies and nonprofit organizations, achieving 186 percent sales growth during his tenure. He led and managed a team of sales professionals working with account leads across Accenture’s Civilian Portfolio including the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Health and Human Services, the Treasury and Interior, Office of Personnel Management and organizations such as the United Nations, the U.S. Postal Service, Amtrak and others.
Mr. Brody is a member of the board of directors of AFCEA Bethesda, a Washington, DC based organization focused on increasing collaboration, dialogue and innovation between the federal civilian government and the federal IT services community.
As a sales capture executive, Mr. Brody was responsible for helping Accenture win significant programs across the federal government, most notably at the Departments of State, Education, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Information Systems Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.
Mr. Brody joined Accenture in 1997 after serving in the administration of former Pittsburgh Mayor Tom Murphy.
Mr. Brody earned his Masters of Public Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Public Policy and Management and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He lives in Alexandria, Va., with his wife and two children.
