George McKenzie is managing director and cyber practice lead for Accenture Federal Services. In this role, he is spearheading development and integration of advanced security capabilities—including intelligent cyber defense, adversary simulation, managed security services, and managed detection and response. In addition to delivering Accenture’s cyber services, McKenzie and his team ensure that security is a fundamental part of other Accenture services and solutions.
McKenzie joined Accenture following the acquisition of Defense Point Security (DPS), which he founded. At DPS, he engineered, architected, and managed Security Operation Centers, Computer Security Incident Response Centers, and comprehensive enterprise security programs for both Federal and commercial clients. Before founding DPS, he served as director of information assurance for QinetiQ-NA and as security practice manager for Northrup Grumman in the Federal Civilian sector.
