David Regan is global lead, Revenue Industry at Accenture. His work involves liaising with national and regional revenue authorities around the world, looking at ways they can improve their efficiencies and develop services for citizens to deliver public service for the future. He addresses strategic issues, organizational change, transformation programs and major technology implementation programs, creating positive outcomes that impact citizens and business across the world.
With more than 25 years of experience, Regan has gained deep industry knowledge, helping more than 30 revenue authorities across the world. Working across many different countries, he has offered support and independent advice on the overall progress of revenue agencies’ key implementations, drawing on Accenture’s broad capabilities combined with the unique insights of a team of Accenture specialists in the worldwide taxation sector. He is particularly skilled in supporting transformation journeys.
Regan earned a bachelor's degree (with honors) in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin, and a master's in Information Technology from the University of the West of England. He is very aware of the extreme poverty in parts of the world and has served as both a volunteer with the development agency Concern in Ethiopia and as a member of the Concern Worldwide board. He is based in Dublin, and is a proud supporter of Leinster Rugby.
