Business Strategy Manager

Bio: Brian Gavron is a Manager with Accenture Federal Service’s Strategy group, has been with Accenture for 3 years, and is based out of Washington, D.C. His background includes experience is market analysis, data analytics, sales and marketing, and program management while supporting a variety of federal clients. In his current role, Brian focuses on customer retention with a large quasi-governmental organization.
Bio: Dennis is a Technology Strategy Consultant based in Atlanta, GA. He has experience across CMT and Retail, with functional experience developing business cases, executing market entry, launching new products, rationalizing application portfolios, and aligning IT & Business strategy. Dennis holds a MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and Bachelors in Political Science and Marketing from the University of Florida
Bio: Emily joined Accenture after graduating from the Darden School of Business in 2015. Her project experience at Accenture includes assessment and design of shared service solutions, operating model design, and value case development across multiple industries and geographies. Prior to joining Accenture, Emily had MBA internships with the U.S. government’s development finance institution, OPIC, in their Structured Finance group and a national non-profit organization focused on program strategy for prisoner re-entry and reducing recidivism. Before business school, Emily worked in public accounting where she served cross industry clients in a financial statement audit function. She is a licensed CPA in Washington, DC.
Bio: Josh is a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Tech Strategy practice based in Denver. He has fifteen years of experience helping business and technology leaders move from issue to outcome in Tech Strategy, Tech-driven Transformation, and M&A. He focuses on the Communications, Media, and High-Tech industry.
Prior to joining Accenture, Josh worked with the Office of the Secretary of Defense to transform the DoD’s identity management and privacy program to comply with rapidly evolving government policies and technology standards. Josh holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BA in economics from the University of Chicago.
Bio: Matt Pedersen is a Senior Manager in Accenture Strategy’s Supply Chain Practice and is based out of the Seattle office. He has extensive experience with clients in a variety of industries, working across operations, network strategy and design, sourcing and procurement, inventory optimization, and supply chain planning to support growth and improve profit margins. Prior to Accenture, he managed distribution operations for a 3PL and was an Officer in the US Army.
Bio: Mazen Baroudi leads Accenture’s Technology Strategy practice (e.g., IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Application Strategy, Cloud Strategy) in North America across our five Industry groups. Mr. Baroudi has 20 years of experience helping companies develop their Technology Strategies, specializing in IT Strategy and Technology transformations. He has significant experience with Communications, Media and High Tech companies, where he has performed IT assessments, designed enterprise architectures, developed application strategies, led post-merger technology integration efforts, and helped organizations think about how they can help their company identify and use the right technology to foster innovation.
Mazen earned his Bachelor Degree in Nuclear Engineering and his Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia. Currently serves on the Darden Corporate Advisory Board.
Bio: Natasha’s project experience includes innovation, product strategy, operating model strategy, security strategy, and application rationalization, primarily in the media, technology, and payments industries. Prior to Accenture, Natasha worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and has five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, and operations.
Bio: Sid is a Technology Strategy Consultant at Accenture. Sid’s project work has included network transformation, wireless tower sourcing, product rationalization, and finance transformation. He has industry experience in Information and Communication Technology (particularly in emerging markets), Water Infrastructure and Sustainability, Higher Education, and Aerospace.
Before Accenture, Sid founded, designed, and launched a South Africa+US messaging application through university and private sector partnerships. The application is now live and has a potential reach of 88% of South Africa’s population, much more than internet-based apps that reach under 60%. Sid also served as a development strategist during his MS where he improved water infrastructure assessment framework for a 3.5M person district in India. Sid has also served as a teaching assistant for 5 engineering classes with over 1,000 students total. As a thought leader and researcher, Sid has published 10 papers at IEEE conferences and other journals. In addition, Sid volunteers his time as an undergraduate student mentor and a global development practitioner.
Sid is an aspiring "Quad Hoo." He is finishing his dissertation on Inclusive Communication Systems as a part of his Systems Engineering PhD at UVa. Sid holds a BS in Systems and Aerospace, MS in Systems, and MBA from Darden - all at the University of Virginia.
Bio: Prior to joining Accenture, JC had six-years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D. At Accenture, JC has worked in Healthcare and IT industries. As a strategy consultant, JC’s experience includes GTM strategy, strategic planning, business case creation, sales operations, insight generation through data analysis.
JC holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Life Sciences from Queen’s University, Canada, a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology, and an MBA with Business Analytics concentration from Darden Graduate School of Business.
Bio: Michael Ostergard is the North American Industry Strategy Lead for Health. During Michael’s 18 years at Accenture, he has worked with C-Suite executives from around the globe to develop and execute strategic solutions for clients in communications, forest products, consumer goods, medical devices, transportation, and healthcare. Areas of expertise include cost reduction, operating model design, merger integration, value-based management, strategic planning, customer segmentation, and enterprise transformation. Michael’s prior management responsibilities have included the Corporate and Growth Strategy practices as well as the Shareholder Value practice.

Professional Bio: Ryan Rayborn is a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Technology Strategy Practice based in Atlanta, Georgia. Ryan has over a decade of experience helping organizations more fully realize the value of technology. Most recently, Ryan led an enterprise wide billing system transformation for large telecom provider. Prior to Accenture, Ryan worked with Coca-Cola’s finance organization and with Hospital Corporation of America’s audit function. Ryan holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School and a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University.
