As part of our commitment to developing female and minority students, we are sponsoring the Accenture Student Empowerment Program to help students beginning in their freshmen year realize their potential. Going beyond our formal internships, this program provides additional mentoring and skill development opportunities to help participants build a foundation throughout their college experience that will position them for successful careers after graduation.
The Accenture Student Empowerment Program is a three-year program targeted toward female and minority students, starting in their freshman or sophomore year, with majors in business, computer science and engineering. In addition to mentoring and networking events, participating students—known as Accenture Fellows—may intern with Accenture for up to three summers. Fellows who successful complete this program will be eligible to receive a full-time offer with Accenture.
Individuals accepted into the Accenture Student Empowerment Program, will become an Accenture Fellows and receive the following benefits:

Opportunity to complete three summer internships (summers before sophomore, junior and senior years)
Hands-on exploration of the consulting career path

In 2003, Accenture launched an innovative program to help develop diverse student leaders, while helping build a diverse workforce. The Accenture Student Empowerment Program was developed to provide ongoing career development and opportunities to rising student leaders on campuses across the US
The Accenture Student Empowerment Program is comprised of the following four main areas:
Mentoring: each fellow is matched with an executive from our consulting workforce
Internships: opportunity for up to three summer internships as long as fellows continue to meet the Program requirements
Development: ongoing workshops covering a variety of topics will be offered via conference calls through the academic year, newsletters, summer internships, etc.
Networking: opportunities to build network with a variety of consulting professionals beyond your assigned mentor

Female and minority students with an expected graduation date between December 2017 and May/June 2019
Candidates with strong academic performance at an accredited four-year institution
Students with work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States

Requirements for continued enrollment
Please note the following requirements for continued enrollment throughout the three-year program:
Maintain GPA requirement
Fellows must submit transcript following each semester of study
Meet performance expectations during summer internships
Continued enrollment in an undergraduate program
Continued interest in exploring Accenture and the consulting industry
Proactively build and develop your relationship with your mentor
