"Accenture people love to share knowledge, work hard and play harder."

What I Do

I have worked at Accenture as a business analyst for almost two years. I’ve had the opportunity to work with both clients and Accenture’s internal CIO organization. During both experiences I’ve been closely involved in gathering requirements, prioritizing tasks based on timeline analysis, running testing metrics and helping to create solutions when issues come up. By working with a global company like Accenture, I have the opportunity to collaborate with people from all over the world (e.g. Spain, Argentina, Philippines and India) on a daily basis. This gives me the opportunity to apply and grow my multi-cultural communication skills and enrich my personal growth by learning from different cultures.

Day in my Life

Currently, I’m working with the CIO organization on an internal SAP release as a flex analyst, meaning that I am the go-to analyst when something is needed from any aspect of the release such as testing, cutover and downstream applications. This role gives me the opportunity to be closely involved with the project management side of things and have direct contact with managers and senior managers. I commute to the Accenture office in downtown Chicago, which helps to expand my Accenture network. I live in the suburbs, so I try to take advantage of my commute at the end of the day as much as possible by reading a book, planning my next trip or catching up with long-distance family and friends.

Outside the Office

I love traveling, so I try to take weekend trips at least every three months to anywhere warmer than Chicago! I recently moved to the U.S., so everything is new for me. I also enjoy nature and spending time away from the city. Anywhere with nice hiking trails and beaches is a must go for me. During the week I love trying out new Pinterest recipes, exercising, volunteering and catching up with friends.

My Advice

Always stay curious.
