Accenture’s collaborative culture is truly remarkable. People with incredible expertise from all over the world – literally – are more than eager to share their experience and insight no matter what the challenge.

About Me

I joined Accenture in 2015 after serving as a senior executive in government, where I was honored to lead development and implementation of many of the Administration’s flagship digital government initiatives. As Director of Digital Government at Accenture Federal Services, I’m helping to grow our business with federal agencies using our innovative digital capabilities like service design, web transformation, and analytics to improve how the government serves the public.

Day in my Life

One of the things I enjoy most about my role at AFS that I get involved in many different areas and opportunities. Over the last few months, I helped launch our new AFS Digital Studio, which is bringing Accenture’s global service design and innovation capabilities to our federal government clients. I’ve been promoting the importance of customer experience to delivering effective citizen services and working with our account teams to identify and pursue opportunities where the Studio’s capabilities can contribute to their client’s missions.

Outside the Office

I’m an avid outdoor adventurer and traveler; on many weekends, you can find me cycling along country roads in Virginia and Maryland. I love to travel to spectacular places – next up is hiking in Patagonia with my husband and two daughters. I also care deeply about educational opportunity, and chair the Board of Trustees of a fabulous non-profit in my community that gives scholarships to deserving high school graduates.

My Advice

It’s important to do work you find meaningful. Follow your passions –work on client missions you find rewarding and find ways to contribute that play to your strengths. Be willing to take risks to discover challenging opportunities and develop new capabilities.
