As Project Sourcing Team Lead, I am responsible for the development, growth, and success of the Project Sourcing team supporting the Corporate and Professional Services Category (Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Consulting, Professional Services, and Facilities). I am currently managing a team of dedicated Corporate and Professional Services procurement professionals leading projects across more than fifteen different clients to source roughly 130 initiatives annually. I also personally develop strong relationships and build credibility with client stakeholders through consistent delivery on customer expectations, skilled project management, and effective communication.
Every single day is different – imagine that! I am focused on developing my team members professionally and helping them grow into true procurement professionals. Each team member is managing their individual projects, so my days consist of thinking creatively to help my team solve problems and apply strategic thinking to their approach. I also manage my own sourcing projects, so I can honestly say that I am learning new things each and every day.
I love to travel, and go out to dinner at lots of delicious restaurants in Philadelphia. I also enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. I am a big advocate of community service as well, and I (with the Philly WAM Girls) planned a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® event in Norristown the past two years to raise awareness against domestic violence.
If you want to work for a company that values its employees who are extremely smart and also know how to have fun – then Accenture is a place that you want to seriously consider. I feel so lucky to work with such amazing people who are always willing to help others and who treat each other with respect. I honestly couldn’t be happier about my decision to work at Accenture.
