Since joining Accenture in 2006, I have primarily worked in the telecom industry supporting large-scale transformation programs for European and North American clients. My main areas of expertise are: OSS / network operations and service management, network assessment and strategy, network operations processes, field force transformation and workforce management.
One of my defining career moments was in March 2012, when I helped deliver the first phase of a workforce management transformation project in the biggest telecom operator in Greece, in a record-setting 6-month timeframe that nobody believed to be feasible when we started.
I recently transferred from Accenture’s office in Greece to the United States, and am now serving as the Delivery Manager for a major cable television, telecommunications and wireless service provider.
My day consists of a balance between ongoing activities in the delivery I’m managing for our communications client and the other initiatives I’m involved in, such as client proposals, offering development and pipeline management for our Field Force Enablement offering under Accenture Digital – Mobility. I also serve part-time as a subject matter expert for a number of Communications, Media & Technology clients in Italy, Greece and Emerging Markets.
I enjoy travelling, going to the movies, reading history books and biographies, and getting to know Chicago, where I moved to from Greece a few months ago.
Invest in your team; take the time to mentor, to review work and to give feedback rather than doing it yourself. You cannot grow as a professional unless your team grows with you.
