"Accenture’s work environment provides opportunities which enable me to consistently learn and develop new skills; working at Accenture has allowed me to see my potential more clearly."

What I Do

I am a technology consultant within Accenture’s Consumer Goods and Services practice.

My current role at Accenture I am working as a Global Project Management Operations (PMO) lead and the Project Manager of an SAP implementation. In my role as PMO Lead, I am responsible for PMO activities and providing support for the delivery of a custom SAP solution being implemented across multiple global vendors while providing support for over 150 resources spread across Atlanta, Europe, India, Manila, and China. In my role as Project Manager, implementing enhancements and new requirements, serving as a liaison between the business and the solutions team, and ultimately managing the project through delivery lifecycle.

Day in my Life

A day in my life at work consist of me first reading and responding to email. I then begin to run reports to see how my project is progressing and to ensure we are still operating on schedule and meeting deadlines. If necessary I begin client meetings to provide status updates and to answer any questions relative to my project. Other activities I handle include but are not limited to Financial Management, Resource Management, Contract Management, Risks and Issue Management.

Outside the Office

Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, spinning, and football (Go Falcons!).

I’m also proud to volunteer with KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program), as part of Accenture’s global corporate citizenship initiative, Skills to Succeed. . KIPP is a national network of free, public college-preparatory high schools dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life.
