There is no typical day at Accenture, which keeps things interesting. Roles and interactions change from project to project. My typical day usually includes 2-3 hours of client workshops in the morning or calls with tech teams in India or the Philippines, with follow-up meetings or status updates in the afternoon. The in-between time is focused on client work or starting the next deliverables. I usually spend a few hours on Fridays on internal Accenture work or personal development.
One recent project for a multinational financial service company was an extremely rewarding and positive experience. Strong buy-in and ownership from both client leadership and our day-to-day contacts set us up for success. The collaboration between our teams was frequent, iterative and we made decisions quickly.
The best thing about Accenture is the people; I truly think they’re the most talented in the industry. Accenture’s core value of “best people” is something that’s evident every day. Your colleagues and leaders are smart, supportive and always willing to lend a hand.
