As a Business & Integration Architecture Senior Analyst and Quality Assurance Tester, I work with oil companies to ensure high-quality products. I act as a detective, looking for flaws and possible improvements in applications. When the software is error free and in optimal condition, I give the green light that it’s ready for the end user.
I spent 12 years building a career as a software engineer and business analyst, and then in 2011, we relocated to the United States due to my husband's work. I stepped away from my professional life and focused on caring for my family. When my son graduated from high school, I felt it was the right time to return to the labor force.
I recently relaunched my career through the Technology Returnship Program. With a 10-year gap in my resume, I had some insecurities and doubts about my professional opportunities. The Technology Returnship Program has allowed me to unleash my technical skills and learn new technologies and, most importantly, boosted my confidence and self-esteem.
Now I’m doing work like my recent Microsoft Azure DevOps project, working in scrum to develop an application to help a client manage inventory and store operations. It was a success and we exceeded the client's expectations.
