I help HR teams transform their employee files and data to a digital format for use in Workday, the industry’s best cloud-based system. Think of it as Facebook for the HR and finance functions. This transformation of files into the robust Workday system allows businesses more efficient reporting and helps them make better-informed decisions on their people.
Traveling internationally and collaborating with my Accenture team in Belgium made a recent project especially exciting. It was also rewarding to see the project come to fruition and watch our solution in action as the Workday system transformed our client’s HR function—and their overall business.

A typical day in the Workday practice—and at Accenture overall—is collaborative, challenging and fun. I work closely with my implementation team and Accenture Workday team members across the globe. Outside of project work, I’m also involved in team growth initiatives, which helps build up others and allows me to use my strengths and experience in well-rounded ways.
I enjoy working with so many always-on, hardworking, professional, collaborative and fun people. The people and the leadership make coming to work every day a pleasure.
Outside of work, I volunteer for a local food bank, explore London and the rest of the U.K. and Europe with my wife. I also find time to run half-marathons.

To be successful in the Workday space, it’s important to possess a hunger for learning new things. You also need a reasonable comfort level with being challenged and stretched daily to keep pace with clients, your colleagues and the speed of ever-evolving technologies.
