Carnival has been a multi-team and a multi-vendor project since it started. With all the numerous moving parts, it’s critical that everyone stays aligned and all marching toward the same goal. My daily responsibilities include ensuring on-time delivery by Accenture development teams and coordination with other vendors across the project to make sure we all work in sync.
My primary responsibility over the past three years on the project has been leading the development of the user experience. These mobile and web apps become the first touchpoint for cruise guests and crew members. Improving the guest experience and empowering crew members are the key objectives, and it feels great to have been a part of making this incredible experience come together.
The project has been an amalgamation of the latest in technology. To enable the MedallionClassTM experience, we used the latest in hardware, software and networking technologies. Cross-platform tools and technologies were used to support development of the user experience and the latest artificial intelligence tools were used to personalize the guest experience. In fact, the MedallionClassTM experience has been recognized with IoT breakthrough awards for leveraging innovation to elevate the guest experience.
The colleagues I work with help me grow by leaps and bounds both personally and professionally. With a great deal of my time spent away from home at client locations, it’s comforting to know that I’m working with people who are always supportive.
In my spare time, If I am not spending time with my family, I can be found glued to watching cricket and soccer matches. I spend most of my leisure time catching up on games I missed.
