How I put change in motion

I am a Managing Director and co-lead of Accenture Federal’s National Security and Intelligence Practice. Our teams bring deep sector and commercial expertise to provide innovative solutions to organizations supporting national security, intelligence and cyber communities.

It’s really an exciting time for our clients, as many are now accelerating their drive to digital. Embracing new processes, commercial technologies and “New Now” skillsets is helping them transform the way they accomplish their missions across the globe.

A day in my life

Every day is action packed and full of new opportunities. Whether we’re bringing teams of experts together with our clients at the Federal Digital Studio or meeting with our alliance partners to develop new solutions, each engagement brings new opportunities to learn, lead, grow, develop and help our clients forge their path to the future.

I joined Accenture Federal after a 34-year career as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army. In joining the Accenture Federal Team, I have been able to continue to serve my former teammates in the National Security and U.S. Intelligence communities, working with Accenture to bring the very best solutions to some of the nation’s most complex problems. I feel blessed to be on such a great and talented team, working with people who are so people who are so genuinely committed to doing what is right and is best for our clients and helping one another reach their potential.

I love the people I have met at Accenture, and I appreciate our commitment to inclusion and diversity, our innovation culture and our passion for our clients and for making a difference as corporate citizens in our communities. It’s real, and I am proud to be a part of it.

When I am not working, I am involved in several nonprofits focused on engaging and mentoring young people who are interested in pursuing careers in national security and intelligence. I enjoy traveling, training and competing in marathons, and spending time with my husband, Paul, and our family and friends.

“Our passion for our clients and for making a difference as corporate citizens in our communities is real, and I am proud to be a part of it. ”

My advice

Reach out to people who are serving or who have served in the intelligence community. Most agencies have nonprofit organizations with volunteer mentors who can help get you connected and explain the many paths into the national security sector and the kinds of qualities and skills that are important.
