How I put change in motion

I work with business leaders in our North America technology division to design strategic initiatives to attract, develop, and retain the best talent. In my four years at Accenture, I’ve worked across various areas of HR including campus recruiting, total rewards, and talent strategy. My TAP experience

My Accenture HR Talent Accelerator Program journey began the summer of my junior year at the University of California, Berkeley, where I studied Political Economy. My internship took place in the New York office where I supported the campus recruiting team. I had such an incredible experience meeting different HR leaders, collaborating with my fellow interns, and working for such an innovative HR organization.

I’ve since completed all four rotations of the program—a client-facing consulting role, an internal HR role, an international HR role, and an internal corporate functions role. One highlight of my TAP experience was during my 3-month international rotation. It took me to Singapore, where I was supporting their talent strategy team. It was such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse myself in a whole new culture.

My experience in TAP was instrumental to preparing me for my current role in HR. The program really helped build my critical thinking and analytical skills. I also gained more confidence in presenting my ideas in front of a large audience.

A day in my life

A typical day at work for me starts out with a morning meeting with my team to discuss what we are working on that day and what we may need help with. Then, I prepare for meetings with my business leads to discuss progress on various talent initiatives. I then eat lunch and catch up with a couple of my colleagues. I then spend the afternoon analyzing various HR metrics. I typically close the day reading through the latest HR trends or taking one of our HR self-study courses.

Outside of work, you can find me traveling, event planning, or playing volleyball!

My advice

If you are passionate about HR, TAP is the program for you! It is truly a one-of-a kind program that builds a great foundation and launching point for your HR career.
