As a Paid Media Manager, I manage paid campaigns day-to-day on the major social media platforms for FanDuel, the world’s premier online fantasy sports and sportsbook destination. I set up the campaigns and ads, as well as allocate budget to audience segments that are providing the highest return on investment. We constantly look at the results, recalibrate our setup and reallocate budget accordingly. For example, if a certain set of ads performed well throughout the week, or important games are on the horizon, we will move budget to those campaigns from lower-performing ones.
My team included Media Supervisor Taylor Baird, who helped oversee the day-to-day operations of social media campaigns; Account Supervisor Andre Grier, who managed the day-to-day execution of our social media strategies; and Account Director Sean McCarthy, who lead us in creating the overall paid social media strategy.
