"I guide clients through the innovation process, from understanding business problems to ideation through to proof of concept."
In my role as an Innovation Lead, I guide clients through the innovation process, from understanding business problems to ideation through to proof of concept. I work at The Dock in Dublin—our flagship R&D and global innovation center—where I lead teams of experts to design and build cutting-edge technology products and test them in the market.
We recently helped Allied Irish Bank (AIB), one of the largest financial institutions in Ireland, tackle the issue of algorithmic fairness—a growing problem facing society as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more commonplace. We translated nascent academic research into a functioning prototype, bringing together software engineers, data scientists and designers to make it real. Being able to follow an idea through its innovation journey and see it make an impact for our client, and for such an important societal issue, was brilliant.
My team was led by Managing Director Medb Corcoran and included Analytics Lead Laura Alvarez Jubete, who managed the analytics process, and Analytics Innovation Analyst Andreea-Roxana Miu, who focused on data analysis.

A typical day? There isn’t one. I am continuously learning about new technologies, the latest industry trends and new business model innovations. My role typically is to harness different perspectives and knowledge to create innovative solutions. Working at Accenture allows me to help clients apply technology to solve problems, and at incredible scale.
In my spare time, you’ll find me hiking the mountains of Ireland or playing rugby with my brother.

Innovation is hard. More often than not, an idea fails or doesn’t materialize as you expect it to. Be comfortable with ambiguity, learn from failures and be persistent in pursuing the value in an opportunity.
