As a Management Consultant, I work with clients across multiple industries in areas of customer experience, digital transformation, and sustainability. I am also part of the Accenture Retail Strategy & Consulting Corporate Citizenship team.
A recent example is my role as program manager on The Felix Project, a London-based charity that redistributes fresh food that would otherwise go to waste. To reach a goal of redistributing 100 million meals annually by 2024, they needed to prioritize investments in new technology and improve operational efficiency.
The Felix Project teamed with Accenture, Microsoft and Avanade (a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture) to design a solution to improve driver routes and volunteer and customer relationship management. We also collaborated on the development of a mobile app for drivers and a Microsoft Power Platform reporting and analytics solution.
I managed a complex delivery with a team of 10 with varying expertise, spanning the U.K. and Philippines, across Microsoft and Avanade. I was also responsible for the creation and delivery of training the staff volunteers on how to use the tools we were building.
This project is undoubtedly my most treasured work moment, as we not only helped develop the infrastructure needed to respond to pandemic levels of demand, but we were also able to help the nonprofit scale and grow its impact to those in need into the future.
The project team included Digital Sales and Service Lead Simon Baumber, who led the technology stream of the project, and Managing Director Brendan Mislin, who was the overall engagement lead.
