As a Managing Director in Manufacturing & Operations, I help companies solve problems related to how they make or manufacture “things”—anything from chemicals and paper to medicines and food. We innovate with the latest technologies to help enable companies’ workers to work more efficiently.
When DuPont became a separate entity from global chemical giant DowDuPont, the company needed to establish independent manufacturing technology capabilities. We focused on their primary quality management technology solutions, helping ensure that the products they make meet the right specifications. They needed a cloud-based solution that could be leveraged by everyone in the organization.
My contribution was really focused on enabling our people to be their best, to feel safe and comfortable and to bring their technical expertise and creativity to the problems and tasks at hand. As a leader at Accenture, I believe that my job is to empower our teams and help them exceed our clients’ expectations.

My team included Software Developer Manager Robert Jones, who helped manage laboratory data; Management Consultant Michael Niemann, who focused on strategy and documentation; Managing Director Derek Ong, who led a team responsible for migrating 500 applications from Dow to DuPont; and Senior Manager Dixit Patel, who led the migration of manufacturing quality systems.
