Test Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Charlotte, NC): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Manager in Charlotte, NC to manage project execution and to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. She will perform the following duties: develop or update project and test plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing; monitor or track project milestones and deliverables; develop, design, and maintain software products or systems to enable client strategies; analyze, design, build, and test new components or enhancements to existing modules; create test documentation for applications; test applications according to SLAs; work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on testing solutions for new system roll outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications; work with the client to gather requirements and develop proofs of concept for new technologies/solutions and suggest business process improvisation to reduce complexity in custom application(s); supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design and subsequently into testing specifications; monitor the performance of project team members and provide and document performance feedback to them; conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management and adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as  Test Analyst, Test Consultant, Test Manager, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience utilizing Agile/waterfall software development methodologies to deliver IT projects and manage testing, defects and user stories; 5 years of experience with ETL testing and data analysis with at least one of the following databases – SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, and using Informatica Power Center, Toad, Informatica Data Quality, MySQL, Microsoft Access, Compare It, PuTTY, WinSCP and Beyond Compare; 5 years of experience with testing Business Intelligence reporting tools – SQL Server Reporting Services, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, (OBIEE), Business Objects, or Hyperion (Cube reporting); 2 years of Workday Integration Testing, Workday HCM Testing to test Workday implementations; 5 years of experience in using programming languages, Python, Perl, SQL, and either Java, C++ or VB to handle the technical ETL testing; and 3 years of experience in project management including creating/overseeing the project work plans, identifying and tracking risks & issues, overseeing g a team and end-to-end project delivery, defining and completing statements of work, status reporting, and overseeing project financials.

Positions are based in Charlotte NC but requires domestic travel up to 80% of an average work week. Telecommuting is permitted for this role but need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
