Experienced Sales/Business Developer - Financial Services Industry
THE WORK
Are you an experienced Sales Lead with a background working for a Tier 1 consulting or technology services company? Would you like to be part of a fast-growing Financial Services Industry (Banking, Capital Markets, Leasing, Insurance and Pensions) Sales Team where you will work with, and learn from, Accenture's Executives in the Netherlands on strategically important, multi-disciplinary and cross-geography pursuits? If so, we would love to hear from you.
As a Sales Lead within our Financial Services practice, you will be at the intersection of Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations and Sales. This is not a sales role in the traditional sense – you will be responsible for shaping and driving all activities within the sales cycle of Technology-Led Business Transformations. Whether we're investigating complex issues or identifying new opportunities, our work always comes down to one thing: unlocking value and creating real, tangible impacts for our clients. You will drive the journey from helping the Accenture team originate new opportunities, creating the first proposal, to closure of the final contract.
Along with being part of the overall Financial Services sales team, you will have a dedicated role within one or more client account teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our key clients and create value propositions based on a deep understanding of the client and their needs. Leverage your network within the Dutch Financial Services market to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Strategic Opportunity Development: Partner with Account Teams to ideate and drive strategic, multi-disciplinary and cross-service line opportunities. Apply your deep understanding of Financial Services industry trends and themes to translate evolving client needs into value-creating business propositions.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Shape and execute winning strategies across the end-to-end sales cycle. Develop compelling financial and commercial constructs that link to client value and business outcomes, demonstrating creativity in structuring deals that drive mutual success.
- Proposal Management: Own end-to-end project management of client proposals, establishing, communicating and driving implementation of sales project plans. Manage the development of client presentations within challenging deadlines while ensuring quality and strategic alignment.
- Industry Expertise Application: Apply your understanding of Financial Services industry transformation, including business model evolution, digitalization of customer journeys, back office optimization (P&C, Health, Savings, Retirement), and modernization of organizations and IT systems in the context of regulatory changes and Data & AI/Technology developments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly across Strategy & Consulting, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver integrated solutions that address complex client challenges and drive successful tech-enabled transformation.
Your role will be broad and dynamic, differing day in and day out, with the autonomy to shape and grow the role in line with your ambitions. You will become part of a small yet diverse, inter-disciplinary and international team that will equip you with industry-relevant skills and a network to nurture a successful career in your chosen direction.
With all our roles, there is in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with colleagues, clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
