You are:

An experienced MuleSoft Architect with expertise designing, developing and leading the implementation of complex integration solutions using MuleSoft.

The Work:

The MuleSoft Architect will provide technical leadership, ensure best practices, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust integrations and APIs using MuleSoft. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with architectural standards and business requirements.
  • Guide teams on architecture and design patterns.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize the performance of MuleSoft applications.
  • Document solutions comprehensively to facilitate understanding and maintenance.
  • Stay updated on MuleSoft platform advancements and incorporate new features and capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new tools and techniques.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role will require 2-3 days per week at the local office. The preferred hiring locations for this role is Berwyn, PA but may consider qualified applicants in Tampa, FL or Nashville, TN.

What you need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing and leading the implementation of complex integration solutions with MuleSoft
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Anypoint Platform MuleSoft Development (Hands-On)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) 

Bonus Points if:

  • Deep understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Exchange, and Anypoint Management Center. Extensive experience with MuleSoft connectors, API management, DataWeave transformations, and error handling.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and implementing best practices for integration flows.
  • Certification: MuleSoft developer 1, MuleSoft developer 2, Integration Architect
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix complex integration issues. Ability to troubleshoot and debug MuleSoft applications effectively.
  • Extensive experience with agile project management practices to deliver projects on time and within scope. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in RESTful and SOAP API design and development. Experienced in using RAML (RESTful API Modeling Language) and OpenAPI for API specification.
  • Advanced skills in DataWeave for data transformation, including complex data mapping and transformations. Experience with XML, JSON, CSV, and other data formats.
  • Knowledge of ESB concepts and experience with middleware solutions. Understanding of message brokers and queuing systems (e.g., JMS, AMQP).
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS, and encryption.
  • Experience implementing security controls for APIs and integrations.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven). Proficient in setting up automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience deploying and managing MuleSoft applications in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation using MuleSoft. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git. Experience managing source code repositories and branching strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bachelors of Science , Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
