In Transformation Excellence:
Transformation Excellence practitioners shape and steer technology enabled, large-scale transformations with our clients.
They convey deep understanding of technology platforms and architecture at the intersection of our clients industry to guide them towards a well-defined, value-rich target while effectively managing change.
Using deep industry and technology competence e.g., in Cloud, Data or Security, they build rapport with senior and expert stakeholders in both business and technology functions to facilitate quick and effective decision-making.
Transformation Excellence professionals act as the glue between program stakeholders (internal and external) to keep the course and maximize value realization for our clients.
Complex program management will be strictly oriented towards value realization across multiple dimensions (e.g., financial, experience, sustainability)
Your job:
Strategically plan and execute on client rationalization / optimization opportunities, including transformation, infrastructure modernization, cost optimization and management of internal and/or third-party resources.
Lead all aspects of the supplier contract management process, including requirements development, market strategy development, Supplier analysis and selection, and commercial negotiations.
Lead the project teams and the client to create strategic roadmaps, service transition plans, and appropriate models identifying risks and opportunities.
Manage across transformation management domains for a workstream (e.g. scope, cost, schedule, etc.) as the lead advisory partner.
Facilitate design thinking and/or customer journey workshops to support development of a transformation roadmap and/or strategy.
Develop focused expertise across multiple targeted technology focus areas while maintaining breadth of knowledge basis - apply to address issues and resolve dependencies at mid-management level.
Help define and quantify the value of a transformation, and how to measure and track success, including defining business case and TCO strategy/approach.
Support thought leadership in a Technology Strategy & Advisory capability.
Here’s What You Need:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement Strategy, and/or strategically negotiating contracts with customers or suppliers
Minimum 2 years focused on third-party cost optimization, leading engagements which include working with commercial agreements/contracts and negotiating pricing structures for enterprise services, effectively delivering and executing on key recommendations across one or more of the following categories: 1) Software / SaaS such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce and other common enterprise SaaS providers, 2) Data Center and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure and managed services, or 3) Network services, telecommunications, mobility/wireless/IoT.
Bonus points:
2 or more years of consulting/advisory experience, either at a consulting firm or equivalent in an internal consulting role, driving business development and/or execution
1+ year of experience in financial analysis.
Professional skill requirements:
Experience maintaining executive and C-level stakeholder engagement and support, effectively crafting, delivering, and executing on key recommendations.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including detailed knowledge of the underlying components and cost drivers required to plan and execute on technology, infrastructure, and/or managed service strategies including cost optimization, negotiations, and transformation programs.
Knowledge of commercial agreements and pricing structures for one or more of the above-named categories.
Experience working with environments which are migrating from legacy technologies and/or on-premise environments to cloud- and SaaS-based services and environments is highly desired.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
