You Are:
A Quality Engineering Arch Senior Manager, with a future-focused mindset, who provides technical leadership and strategic direction. You help transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You are experienced in test management and defect tools operations (licensed and/or open-source tools). You have done and/or lead team(s) in automation testing and are familiar with industry best practices on test automation management and tool usage.
The Work:
Lead quality assurance projects, teaming with on/off shore QA teams
Collaborate with Business, Product Owners, Dev Leads, and Project Managers to develop and implement optimal solutions for delivery; including Accenture, client and other vendor personnel
Design test strategies, approaches, schedules and planning for the test initiatives. Provide test estimates based on given scope
Deliver test execution including schedule, cost and quality of the testing effort; test management and defect management
Report testing metrics – productivity metrics like test planning and execution progress; quality metrics like defect resolution progress and fix schedule
Create and maintain detail testing workplan
Lead test assessment with client to identify gap in QA process, recommend and implement solutions
Perform sales and solution support in QA opportunities including create solution planning, timeline, estimate, team structure
Cultivate relationship with client and key influencers to increase business opportunities for Accenture QA
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT industry, including leading a quality assurance team, defining test strategy, planning and delivering test execution, defining and implementing test data management, and executing defect management initiative
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus point if you have:
Experience in or have lead team(s) in performance testing, familiar with industry best practice on test automation management and tool usage
Experience with leading team in Test Data, Test Environment Management
Experience in other QA related disciplines like Project Management, Release and Configuration Management, Risk and Issue Management, Scope Management
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
