Job Description
Cloud Solution Architect Executive (Accenture LLP; Mountain View, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Cloud Solution Architect Executive in Mountain View, CA, and the job duties are as follows:
- Develop and build the capability and solution architecture team for Cloud Operations and Infrastructure services across North America.
- Communicate and translate complex technical requirements into competitive client proposals offering a solution that addresses business needs.
- Oversee end-to-end solutions including cloud migration, operations, and infrastructure transformation.
- Support client facing activities related to sales and solution development by leveraging best practices and insights of competitors’ capability and behaviors to support Accenture’s strategy.
- Work directly with clients to share the latest opportunities and manage the interface with IT stakeholders to develop a cloud modernization solution.
- Drive standardization in solutions across design principles, architecture, deployment strategies, and estimation models to optimize delivery cost of programs.
- Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to ensure that solutions and offerings enable growth in revenue and market share.
- Leverage the broader Accenture ecosystem to bring in accelerators to increase solution efficiency.
- Manage recruiting activities, career progression, and training of the team.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 15 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 10 years of experience in each of the following:
- Leading and orchestrating solutions of complex, transformational opportunities for next generation technologies, including hybrid cloud migration and operations, Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI), digital workplace services, DevOps, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or Application Management Services (AMS);
- Consulting with clients for solution selling, including requirements gathering, solutioning, and consultative selling;
- Working on collaborative technology solutioning, including client workshops, joint solutioning sessions, and co-creation sessions; and
- Formulating solution storyline and solution planning across Cloud and Infrastructure.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Leading teams across sales and solutions for cloud and infrastructure services;
- Utilizing and working with cloud providers for IT solutions; and
- Working with customers to create roadmaps to increasingly leverage public cloud.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
