Job Description

Sales Excellence provides end-to-end sales and pricing effectiveness, sales operations, and analytics services. Sales Excellence partners with teams around the world to deliver insights, improve acumen and win profitable deals. Sales Excellence Pursuit Services partners with sales teams to win more business through a compelling and differentiated end-to-end pursuit experience.

Role Description

The successful candidate will join a global team that provides creative writing and editorial review expertise to help develop and enhance a broad range of sales documents and materials. They will proofread, edit and write content, and deliver creative storytelling support. The successful candidate will be assigned to public sector proposals and may be assigned to support proposals in other industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide proofreading, editing and writing support for English language proposals and other sales pursuit documents.

  • Ensure all work is completed to project specifications in accordance with editorial guidelines.

  • Deliver creative storytelling support for projects such as video scripting, significant rewriting of content, infographic creation, etc.

  • Collaborate with creative colleagues such as designers and researchers to develop materials.

  • Work with client account and project teams and other key personnel through the proposal and project document development process, from inception to completion.

Other requirements:

  • Must support North America working hours

  • Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs.

  • Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines.

  • May be occasionally required to travel domestically or internationally.

  • Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Native level of fluency in English, with a minimum of six years of experience as a business or creative writer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public Sector Proposal Writing – INTERMEDIATE

  • Sales Pursuit Management – INTERMEDIATE

  • Public sector writing experience, state and/or federal

  • Strong storytelling experience and deep familiarity with editorial guidelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or comparable discipline

  • A high level of competence with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Project management and administration experience.

  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment

Professional Skills:

  • Advanced interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in virtual environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. 

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $78,500-168,600

Colorado: $78,500-145,700

New York City: $90,900-168,600

Washington: $83,600-155,100
