You develop relationships with key decision-makers at new and existing clients by leveraging the latest technologies in your solutions.

This is a Sr. Solution Architect role focused on Pre-Sales in Accenture's Cloud first practice.

The work:

A motivated, driven AWS Legacy Application Modernization Architect with experience shaping and right-sizing teams to deliver desired outcomes for clients. You enjoy using your AWS cloud-native development experience and knowledge to estimate innovative solutions that help our clients move away from applications written in legacy languages (e.g., COBOL, PL/1, DB2, CICS, IMS, VB6, Power Builder, AS400/RPG). Driven by curiosity, you explore how new technologies can be applied to solve challenging business problems. You thrive in a collaborative, creative and productive team environment where ideas are freely exchanged, and innovative concepts evolve into practical solutions.

  • Specialized Technical Sales for legacy application modernization services utilizing cloud-native services on AWS and Accenture’s proprietary development assets

  • Drive full end to end Sales and Technical Solutioning from origination and initial client conversations, thru discovery, design and transition to delivery

  • Work directly with client Executives and Technology Leaders to Design AWS architectures and the teams that will deliver them

  • Collaborating within a sales pursuit team to develop innovative approaches to solving complex problems

  • You will home office but need to be available for up to 30% travel.



Qualifications

Here's What You Need:​​

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing in legacy languages (e.g., COBOL, PL/1, DB2, CICS, IMS, VB6, Power Builder, AS400/RPG)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience developing in C# or Java, and leveraging AWS cloud native services

  • Experience refactoring monolithic applications to microservices, APIs, and/or serverless models

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Compensation for roles at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. 

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $140,900 - $336,900

Colorado: $159,516 -$288,500

New York City: $184,625 - $333,900

Washington: $150,100 - 309,900
