Responsibilities

  • Deliver global projects on business and IT transformation for refining or petrochemical clients.
  • Lead client project delivery related to Downstream Refining and Petrochemicals Especially, in Refinery Planning and Scheduling capability
  • Work on internal assignments within Accenture like Asset development, technical paper presentation, Knowledge content, sales collaterals, “Go to Market” materials etc.
  • Support the sales and solution design team at various stages the Project Sales / Delivery life cycle.
  • Lead a team of Consultants and Analyst during delivery.
  • Play a supporting role in mentoring junior and cross functional resources.
  • Coordinate with different technology teams as and when required.
  •  Candidate should have worked in Refinery and Petrochemical companies (in Production Planning, Scheduling, Technical Services, Tank Farm Operations division) and /or delivered Scheduling solution to Oil and Gas clients in consulting assignments.

Planning

  • Candidate should have knowledge of refinery / petrochemicals plant configurations, the economics, blending operations, yield accounting, crude blending, product distribution.
  • Candidate should be familiar with typical Planning and Scheduling business processes for
    • Continuous Refinery operations
    • Semi-continuous Polymer / Lube base oil production operations.
  • Candidate should have used Refinery / Petrochemicals Planning tools such as (not limited to)
    • AVEVA Spiral Suite (Crude Assay / Plan/Schedule/Network), Aspen PIMS, Haverly GRTMPS, Honeywell RPMS
  • Crude assay Manager like Spiral Assay, Haverly HCAMS, Aspen Crude Assay Manager.

Scheduling

  • Candidate must be well versed with Scheduling processes such as crude operations, unit motoring, finished product blending, product evacuation, calculating product quality giveaway, plan vs. actual monitoring, Jetty scheduling.
  • Candidate should have used Refinery / Petrochemicals Scheduling tools such as (not limited to)
    • Aspen PIMS, Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (APS), Dock Scheduling, / Haverly H-sched, Honeywell Production Scheduler
    • Batch / Semi Continuous Scheduling applications like Aspen – Plant Scheduler (PS-EO), WAM Picasso systems
  • Experience in Design and implementation of at least one Refinery Planning / Scheduling system will be an advantage.
  • Additional experience working in process simulation tools such as Aspen Hysys, AVEVA Romero and KBC Petrosim would be added advantage.



Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 7+ years Industry Experience in Downstream Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals.
  • 5 + years Specific experience in the Refinery Planning and Scheduling function

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is {$119,800 - $288,500} and information on benefits offered is here. 

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.
