The work:

  • Own & lead a workstream that is responsible for final deliverables to internal and external clients

  • Identify and solve supply chain risk/resiliency challenges through operational and strategic solutions to support both internal and external clients

  • Contribute new ideas that industrialize solutions and generate new offerings in support of clients

  • Support the development of materials and sharing of Supply Chain Risk Management and Supply Chain Resiliency thought leadership

  • Build effective business continuity plans and influencing policies and procedures to minimize risks from the supply chain

  • Support development of assessment strategies, playbooks, tools, and approaches to identify, assess, address, and manage supply chain risk and resiliency challenges

  • Support organizational assessments to identify, understand, analyze, and characterize risks and threats.

  • Use data and analytical modeling tools like descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to make sense of and communicate findings

  • Effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and potential courses of action to internal account leadership and clients

  • Continuously think about how to incorporate new technologies and tools (e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning, RPA, IoT), where they make sense

  • Mentor junior team members with diverse backgrounds to deliver solutions

  • Identify relevant industry standards and best practices for use and set standards for suppliers by industry

  • Determine workflows on how information will be shared with internal and external stakeholder functions and personnel

  • Develops deliverables to demonstrate SCRM program success

  • Documents risk mitigation recommendations and communicate to stakeholders



Qualifications

Here's what you need:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Security and Risk Analysis with Information & Cyber Security option, Supply Chain & Information Systems, Computer Scie

3+ years of experience in supply chain security – Master’s degree may replace 2 years of experience, PhD degree may replace 3 years experience

Experience with at least one of the following three:

  • Identifying, understanding, and analyzing a multi-faceted risks and threats

  • Assessing, characterizing, communicating, and managing supply chain risks

  • Influencing policies, changing procedures, and improving processes

Experience with at least one of the following three:

  • Developing business continuity and risk mitigation plans

  • Developing security and risk scorecards

  • Developing and executing playbooks that deploy risk and threat mitigation

Experience with at least one of the following two:

  • Using data analytics to be descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive

  • Using data visualization to communicate effectively to various audiences

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Supply Chain Risk Management

  • Intelligent & Automated Operations

  • Supply Chain Risk Management

  • IT or Security Governance

  • Risk and Compliance

  • Quality Assurance

Experience working with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team in addressing risks

 

Bonus points:

  • Certification in Supply Chain Risk Management

  • An active security clearance

  • Experience working in or with federal, state, or local government

  • Relevant exposure to US legislation and foreign policy related to global supply chain dependency

  • Familiarity with government and industry standards such as DoD Instructions 5200.44, NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-161, ISO 270001, 31000, 280001, 9001.

Important Information:

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $76,600 – $107,399 and information on benefits offered is here.
