The work:

  • Manage a multi-disciplined project team with the responsibility to provide high quality deliverables on time and on budget

  • Make sure that various workstreams within the project are aligned, coordinated, and stay on track with deliverables from start to finish

  • Identify and solve supply chain risk/resiliency challenges through operational and strategic solutions to support both internal and external clients

  • Contribute new ideas that industrialize solutions and generate new offerings in support of clients

  • Share Supply Chain Risk Management and Supply Chain Resiliency thought leadership with both internal and external clients

  • Build effective business continuity plans and influencing policies and procedures to realize strategic business goals and minimize risks from the supply chain

  • Develop assessment strategies, playbooks, tools, and approaches to identify, assess, address, and manage supply chain risk and resiliency challenges

  • Lead organizational assessments to identify, understand, analyze, and characterize risks and threats

  • Review and use data and analytical modeling tools to make sense of and communicate findings

  • Effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and potential courses of action

  • Continuously identify and incorporate new technologies

  • Cultivate talent within SC&O and AFS by actively participating in recruiting, training, and mentoring people


Here's what you need:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Supply Chain Management, Security and Risk Analysis with Information & Cyber Security option, Supply Chain & Information Systems, Data Analytics

6+ years of experience in a supply chain – Master’s degree may replace 2 years of experience, PhD degree may replace 3 years of experience

Experience with at least one of the following three:

  • Risk Management

  • Working with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team in the Supply Chain Risk Management environment

  • Assessing, characterizing, communicating, and managing supply chain risks

Experience with at least one of the following three:

  • Establishing trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Influencing policies, changing procedures, and improving processes

  • Developing and executing playbooks, business continuity, or risk mitigation plans

Experience with at least one of the following three:

  • Using data analytics to be descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive

  • Using data visualization to effectively present to various audiences

  • Mining raw data, cleansing data, or organizing large data sets

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Supply Chain Risk Management

  • Intelligent & Automated Operations

  • Supply Chain

  • Risk Management

  • IT or Security Governance

  • Risk and Compliance

  • Quality Assurance

Bonus points:

  • Hold any of the following: PMP, PMI-RMP, CRISC, CPIM, CSCP

  • Certification in Supply Chain Risk Management

  • An active security clearance

  • Relevant exposure to US legislation and foreign policy related to global supply chain dependency

  • Familiarity with government and industry standards such as DoD Instructions 5200.44, NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-161, ISO 270001, 31000, 280001, 9001.

  • Experience working in or with federal, state, or local government

Important Information:

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $103,800 – $142,799 and information on benefits offered is here.
