You are:

The tip of the spear and here’s how you go to battle:

  • Being the go-to person at all phases of the sales process (i.e., sales strategy, supporting first pitch meetings, documentation, and data entry; providing materials for follow-ups, support with proposal writing, contracting, etc.)
  • Partnering with sales leaders to plan for client and new prospect meetings and create sales meeting collateral as needed (for Root direct and Accenture synergy opportunities).
  • Attending meetings with sales leaders to help listen for opportunities and support and strategize follow up as needed
  • Driving the creation of proposals and/or the conversion into SOWs and closed/won business
  • Helping sales leaders navigate the legal process and directly interacts with client and Root/Accenture legal teams
  • Comprehensively understanding Root’s core capabilities and pricing to serve as the center of excellence for sales leaders
  • Supporting sales leaders across Accenture internal systems to move opportunities from first stages of the sales process all the way to won closed.

The role:

As the Sales Enablement Associate, you are a member of the Root Sales team playing a key role in driving and supporting the end-to-end sales process. You do this in collaboration with Sales Leadership and other Ecosystem Team Members to help grow the business.  You will support Sales Leadership with every aspect of Root’s sales process from lead generation/capture, to client and prospect meeting support and proposal creation, to contracting and winning opportunities. Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a B2B/professional services/solutions sales, business development, business consulting and/or account management role
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, marketing, or related field
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, twelve years of related professional experience
  • If Associate’s degree, six years of related professional experience

  • Intellectual curiosity – a genuine desire to understand a prospective client’s industry, issues, or goals and how Root can make them successful
  • Broad-based knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character
  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills


For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $48,600 - $105,800 and information regarding benefits may be found here.

Open to remote/virtual work arrangement for individuals who maintain a primary residence within a reasonable commuting distance (i.e. 90 minute one-way drive) to a U.S.-based Accenture office.
