Medical Technology (MedTech) is part of the Accenture Life Sciences Practice that helps deliver more personalized healthcare and better patient outcomes. The practice works specifically with Medical Technology companies to develop solutions across the patient’s healthcare journey. We are growing and looking for managers to join our team!
You are a MedTech maestro with tons of experience working at the best consulting firms, and leadership and management skills to spare. Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have the energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love for continued learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analyses – an aptitude you use to decimate problems. Communication and people skills? You have both in spades, and as a manager you are a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.
Here are some of the opportunities available in our MedTech Practice! We would love to speak with you if you have proven experience in the following areas:
New Product Development- Work alongside the entire New Product Development value chain from conceptualization, research, product design & development to build smart and connected medical devices for their client.
Commercial – Enable the application of AI, smart automation, machine learning and advanced analytics at scale to provide new offerings and improve patient experience.
Strategy – Develop strategic business partnerships and joint ventures. Create operational strategies aligned to new business strategies.
Supply Chain and Manufacturing - Optimize supply chain to support growth and cost objectives of companies. Lead the product lifecycle of a system or product to include manufacturing and supply.
M&A- Identify the right strategic fit and make the best investment decisions that align with business objectives.
- Work with cross-functional client teams to architect and deliver end to end MedTech transformations connecting to patients through innovative digital solutions, often over the course of multiple years involving large scale re-design
- Work with client’s Supply Management to improve their experience in areas of planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution
- Dive deep to get the lay of the land to strategize data driven hypotheses and make recommendations to support client’s MedTech Transformation goals
- Lead global teams of 2-75+ to carry out client priorities to achieve long term success
- Lead as a strategic advisor on world-class end-to-end transformations addressing key business challenges such as New Product Launch, New Distribution Models, Mergers & Acquisitions etc.
- Facilitate effective collaboration with other Accenture teams in Strategy and Consulting Technology and Operations to bring the best of Accenture to clients
- Develop relevant partnerships with Life Sciences clients through applying social skills, effective communication, and relationship building
- Pinpoint ways in which Accenture can better support clients through qualifying, co-creating, and carrying out sales opportunities
- Support the growth and operations of the Life Sciences MedTech practice at Accenture through active involvement and leadership
- Manage junior members of the team and groom them for more responsibility
Here’s What You Need:
- 5 years of MedTech experience, in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial, New Product Development, or Strategy
- 3 years leading teams
- 3 years architecting and delivering MedTech End-to-End Transformations
- Bachelor's Degree
- You have an MBA at an accredited institution
- Proven experience in working for a top tier consultancy
- Experience working with Medical Technology executives applying excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading the delivery of a consulting project and a proven ability to handle issues and risks, with an understanding of appropriate and timely escalation.
- Experience driving insights using digital practices, analytics, and technologies
- Relationships in Medical Device companies

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $152,700 - $241,099 and information on benefits offered is here.
