The Management Consulting Senior Manager re-engineers business processes to drive efficiency and optimize the client's business, within a function, industry, technical and/or digital area.

Job Description

CMT Industry professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique Communications, Media and Technology industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

CMT Aerospace and Defense Industry Applications professionals analyze, design, build, test and deploy innovative industry-specific solutions related to Aerospace and Defense.

The Aerospace & Defense Senior Manager will work closely with Aerospace and Defense clients to identify opportunities, design, and deploy solutions in core operational areas of their businesses such as Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Supply Chain execution.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.
Manages
large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in areas of Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Supply Chain, or Manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 years of Aerospace and Defense industry experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Consulting experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working in and managing teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP implementation experience
  • Digital experience, preferably in analytics, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or aftermarket service.

Professional Skill Requirements

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is 119,880 - 288,500 and information on benefits offered is here.
