A Consulting guru with deep professional experience working across the Video Games industry. You are high energy and have a passion for the industry. You are at the forefront of industry trends, constantly seeking new ideas to bring to our clients. As a consultant, you are an expert at executing on strategic plans. You consider yourself to be very adept at establishing and nurturing client relationships and are equally capable of applying those interpersonal skills to develop and maximize the talents of your team members. These skills enable you to thrive on a wide range of engagements that help your clients set and achieve their strategic and operational objectives.
Must have established CXO relationships within the Video Games industry and the ancillary ecosystem companies that support the Video Games industry. Must have technology consulting solutioning experience across a wide technology solution set. Deep knowledge and expertise across the video game value chain from game creation to gameplay.
Partner with clients across the Video Games industry to implement new processes and technology in their organizations
Lead execution teams to meet the needs of clients; Draw on industry best practice to inform recommendations
Create and share thought leadership and cross-industry perspective with clients
Initiate relationships and build trust with clients to raise Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner
Manage responses to RFPs and support business development efforts
Mentor junior members of the Strategy & Consulting Software & Platforms team and groom them for more responsibility
Here’s What You Need:
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience consulting for or working in the Video Games industry
Bachelor degree. Business or marketing degree preferred.
Professional Skill Requirements:
Strong client communication skills
A proven track record of delivery on complex and impactful client engagements
Overall knowledge of the video game business (general trends, emerging technologies & competitors)
Game Development, Live Ops, In-Game Mechanics, and Customer Experience & Commerce deep expertise
Must have professional strategic sales training
Extensive experience in Enterprise strategic/acquisition selling
Experience working within large complex client engagement environments
Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined, as well as, have superior follow up/management skills & managing complex client engagement cycles
Strong polished presentation, communication/public speaking and written skills (i.e. thought-leadership, RFPs)
Strong organization skills imperative. Technical aptitude and proficiency with Google & MS products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Customer Service, Meeting Video Game Industry Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Services Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales
Bonus Points if:
You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Game Producer that has brought a title to market
Unity and/or Unreal Game Development expertise
Cloud Provider Certification(s): AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $204,660 to $367,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
