Microsoft Azure IoT Services Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Seattle, WA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Microsoft Azure IoT Services Application Development Manager in Seattle, WA to design and architect the next generation modern digital web platform using Azure Digital Twins and Azure Maps. S/he will perform the following duties: work as a full stack developer in creating UI and Web API components in Angular, React, Web API, Azure; build proactive monitoring checks to track the application health; automate the deployment process using CICD (Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment) for App Services, Azure, Sql; interact with stakeholders in understanding business applications and capturing the requirements in Azure Devops; analyze, design, build, and/or test new components or enhancements to existing modules; conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, budget reporting) for assigned scope of work; lead and manage resources from technology, digital group across geographies; accountable to hire new resources based on capacity requirements; accountable to drive the defect initiative to drive testing outcomes by managing client and vendor resources; part of the clients core management and leadership team drive and manage the program; responsible for tracking, training, and recommending growth actions for the subordinates; responsible for delivering quality code to production and sharing the project status on weekly basis; accountable to approve timesheets, overtime, provide performance feedback, terminate/roll-off and manage budget for resources reporting and responsible to manage and drive the client data protection plan for the account.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field, plus 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Team Lead, Application Development Senior Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 6 years of experience in Azure development including Azure App services, Azure functions and Azure Data Bricks to develop Digital Integration Platform connecting 1000+ IOT sensors; 6 years of experience in relational database development using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL to provide backend database solution for Digital Integration Platform; 3 years of experience in designing corporate IT functions using Azure DevOps, Java, J2EE to provide solutions for mobile applications; 6 years of experience in Agile project management and delivery to develop, execute large scale distributed systems and deliver systems integration projects.
