A Data Engineer ready to design and implement data pipelines, ETL workflows, and query support to end-users using Palantir software. You will help support next generation defense and intelligence operations with a focus on enabling data integration and access to new datasets. Your team is eager to work in an Agile development environment and expected to identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks associated with big data environments.
You will discover opportunities for data acquisition with key military stakeholders and identify relevant data sources and sets and provide data system enhancements. You will be responsible for engaging with data scientists and users to perform data integration, application troubleshooting, and configuration to support and improve workflows. The data engineer will engage with Data Scientists, Knowledge Managers as well as military personnel.
Here's what you need:
Experience in Python for data processing and analysis or Java for back-end applications and data integration procedures
Experience with one of the following tools: Apache NiFi, Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, or SQL
Ability to be forward facing and engage with client and key stakeholders to perform data integration, application troubleshooting, and configuration to support as well as improve workflows.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience with open-source technologies such as Cassandra, Spark, ElasticSearch, React, or Redux
Strong military intel background
Experience using Palantir
Experience with Pandas, PySpark, Hadoop and Typescript
Knowledge of Foundry initiative
Experience working with GitHub
US Citizenship, dual citizens not eligible
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $88,100 - $123,400 and information on benefits offered here.
