You Are:
The Application Development Manager is responsible for leading sophisticated, mission-critical projects that span the full stack from front-end to back-end.

The Work:

  • Lead the design of reusable component-based web UI architectures with modern frameworks (React.js, Node.js etc.) 
  • Testing and maintaining software applications and related programs and procedures by using a variety of software development tools following design requirements of customer
  • Collaborating with product leads, UX designers, information architects, and engineers across organizations
  • Building aesthetically-pleasing, pixel-perfect implementation of UI/UX designs
  • Guiding employees in the development of team and individual goals, providing regular and specific feedback whilst assessing individual and team performance
  • Working with client(s) to gather requirements and design proof of concepts for new technologies/solutions and suggest business process improvements to reduce complexity in custom application(s)
  • Working directly with the technical, functional, and business analyst team to deliver projects, enhancement requests, and fixing defects
  • Supervising a team of quality engineers to gather and interpret user/system requirements into test design specifications
  • Participating in quality management reviews to ensure deliverables are in place, satisfy requirements, and meet quality and performance goals
  • Evaluating current and/or emerging technologies to consider factors including cost, portability, compatibility, or usability, and liaise with onshore and offshore teams to convey the requirements, clarify the designs, and verify the deliverables
  • Acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management
  • Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management


Qualifications

Here’s What You Need: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field
  • Must have 12+ years of experience in each of the following:
    • Developing Single Page Web Apps with APIs using ReactJS, Java, J2EE, Node.js, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS;
    • Experience with unit testing frameworks for JavaScript/TypeScript
    • Working on and debugging modern web browser technologies, including Chrome and Firefox;
    • Designing and developing extensible and maintainable web-based systems;
    • Driving key architectural and design decisions, and suggesting improvements on ongoing performance issues;
    • Experience delivering code using CI/CD and following code changes all the way through to production Responsibilities
